Suspension

The Storm Jeeps suspension has been uprated to a ARB Old man Emu Sport system with a 2.5” height increase.

While ride height increases are attained with this kit, emphasis is placed on ride control improvements. Further fine tuning is achieved as the springs are precisely matched to a corresponding set of Old Man Emu shock absorbers, delivering a fully integrated system, designed specifically to suit the Jeep. The spring rate has been specifically engineered for the 2 door diesel variant. Extra weight from aftermarket equipment has been accounted for in the spring rate to ensure the suspension is optimum for the Jeep.

The Old Man Emu JK lift uses the Nitrocharger Sport Shock, the most advanced and innovative 4×4 shock absorber on the market. Designed by a dedicated team of OME engineers through an exhaustive vehicle specific development program, Nitrocharger Sport 4×4 shock absorbers deliver the best control, durability and most comfortable ride over all terrain.

Brake line relocation brackets have been developed to reroute factory brake lines to work with this kits’ extended shock lengths; this relieves stress on brake lines resulting from the higher ride height.

Front sway bar features quick disconnects, allowing for the front sway bar to be disconnected for off road use and increasing suspension articulation.

An Old Man Emu heavy duty steering stabiliser / damper has also been fitted, with increased compression and extension damping performance. This improved performance will assist in the overall ride and control of the JK Wrangler.

Wheels and tyres

17” Diameter by 8.5” wide, these offset Pro Comp Rockwell Alloys are designed using State-Of-The-Art Low-Pressure-Casting Technology providing unsurpassed wheel strength. Pro Comp Alloy Wheels combine head turning style, light weight and a durable finish in satin black powder coat.

Fitted to the wheels are an aggressive looking premium brand 33”x12.5”R17” Mickey Thompson MTZ tyre. Featuring an advanced radial construction for high mileage and smooth ride, the MTZ has Mickey Thompson’s Power Ply™ sidewalls with a special angled third ply to give you high performance handling and better puncture resistance. Deep Shoulder Lugs Provide Aggressive Traction and Bold Looks and the self-cleaning high-void tread lugs give superior traction in the mud and snow.

An AEV Procal module has been used to re-calibrate the speedo and gearbox with the oversize tyres.

Fender flares

Due to wider stance from the offset wheels and wide tyres, the Bushwacker extended flares keep the vehicle legal by providing extra tyre coverage.

With their recessed stainless steel bolts and massive presence, Pocket StyleFender Flares are a Bushwacker original manufactured in the USA. They’re custom-designed for the Jeep Wrangler to complement oversized tyres and high-clearance suspension. Matte black finish – they’re UV protected so they won’t fade.

Front Winch Bumper

The tough and stylish Smittybilt XRC M.O.D. bumper gives full width coverage and houses the 9,500lbs Comeup winch. Coated in a two stage textured matte black finish. The bumper is also equipped with D-Ring mounts that are welded on the inside and out that provides a towable anchor for off road recovery situations.

Winch

The Gen 2si is the latest model from ComeUp. ComeUp winches reputation for quality, durability and innovative engineering won it the selection for use by Artic Truck in Polar expeditions to both the South and the North Poles. The expedition to the North Pole was captured on film by the popular international television program “Top Gear”.

The winch has 9,500lbs pulling capacity using light weight synthetic rope. The Gen2si is IP-68 water rated, meaning it can be operated when fully submerged. Durable matt black powder-coated finish complements the vehicles styling.

The front of the winch features a feedback panel and indicates battery condition, thermal indicator for winch motor and direction of spool.

Rear Bumper and Tyre Carrier

Smittybilt XRC Atlas rear bumper perfectly fits to the Jeep Wrangler contours and features a dual-stage matte black powder coat finish. The tyre carrier provides support for the heavy oversized tyre and is a height adjustable with cam-style pin adjustment ensuring perfect gate stowing.

Includes integrated jerry can and jack mounts, solid mount for D-rings and it also features a 2” receiver hitch that can be used with compatible accessories design for receiver hitch.

Sill protection

Smittybilt SRC Side armour utilises a dual girder system provides the ultimate protection for the sides and under section of the Wrangler. SRC Side armour provides protection as well as a step at the same time. Finished in the same matte black textured powder as the front and rear bumpers.

Lighting

The factory headlights have been upgraded to Vision X Vortex LED headlights finished in black chrome. Legal and engineered for the UK market the Vortex LED Headlight also comes packed with an extremely powerful high-beam, and a wide spread low beam. With such diversity in beam pattern, you can rest assured that you’ll have the right lighting for the right scenario at any time. Equipped with a Halo LED Ring, the headlights feature a bright halo ring that can be active as a day time running light. Having a 7″ halo on the front of your vehicle will not only turn heads, but also provide you with the optimal lighting options for any situation.

Front fog light have also been upgraded to Vision X Optimus LED units. Neatly integrated into the front bumpers these light are E marked and have a day time running halo that work with the vehicles side lights.

The windshield mount LED light bar kit from Rugged Ridge features three 13.5” 72-watt LED light bars. The ultimate lighting combination for the Jeep, this heavy duty light bar kit incorporates a special wind deflector below the light bar to dramatically reduce whistling. Oversized 2 inch textured black tubing attaches to the windshield and all wiring for the roof lights are run internally in the tubing to look as neat as possible on the Jeep.

The roof lights are setup to come on with the main headlight beam. This gives you on demand lighting when required using the vehicles factory controls, however the roof lights also have an isolator switch that will allow roof light to be turned off with high beam if they are not required.

Styling

The blue and black theme runs throughout the Jeep. Supplied with either the aggressive Spartan Grille or the original Jeep seven slot grille with black accents. Other black accents include, Black fuel cap cover, Black rear light guards, Black cowl covers, Black tinted hardtop.
