Modified suspension, big tyres

Teraflex 2.5” suspension lifting kit maintains original handling characteristics whilst providing clearance for huge 35” tyres for an improved chunky stance. This comprehensive kit replaces a number of components often overlooked when lifting a Jeep such as longer sway bar links, rear trackbar relocation bracket, castor corrected control arms, shock and bump stop extensions. TeraFlex is an American manufacturer of premium suspension systems and have been professionally involved with Jeeps since the 1950s, their experience combine with ours at Storm Jeeps allows us to make custom Wranglers perform their best.

The 17” 4WP T-Series Wheels are trail-ready, tough go anywhere wheels worthy of even the most aggressive off-roaders, commanding attention out on the road and trail. These wheels have been wrapped in a 35×12.5” Toyo Open Country M/T Tyre. An aggressive off road tyre specifically designed for applications where off road capability is essential, Open Country M/T is also a civilised road tyre. Open Country M/T incorporates new levels of technology that gives it incredible uniformity for superior handling and control in both off road and street driving.

Exterior and Lighting Enhancements

Smittybilt Modular front recovery bumper comes with integrated D-ring recovery points, overrider with 10” Procomp light bar, lift points and winch mount. This bumper is built with formed heavy-duty steel accommodating an 9500lbs Smittybilt XRC winch with synthetic rope. The all-new XRC Gen3 Winch by Smittybilt has been designed from the ground up with innovative, user-friendly features and improved power efficiency.

The N-Fab EpYx drop down step provides a sleek and polished aesthetic to the Jeep. The expanded step plate offers the ultimate ease of access to the lifted Jeep. Angular steel construction offers long lasting durability and strength with great style

The windscreen mounted Vision X 51” XPR-HM Light Bar has been updated with new IRIS reflector technology and features Prime Drive Technology, a Custom beam pattern that offers you great distance with spread to the beam, a halo ring consisting of the reflector holder to act as a daytime running halo, and black aluminum housing. New 10 watt LED lights has an extraordinary light output paired with IRIS reflector technology to project usable light further than ever before possible. IRIS reflector technology uses deeply recessed reflectors to achieve unmatched distance in a light of that size. The 27 LED light bar produces 1,600ft of usable light. Another new innovation in these light bars is the use of tilting reflectors, allowing the outer 3 LEDs on each end of the light bars (sizes above 6 LED) to tilt out to create a mixed or combo beam pattern. Increasing the spread of the light, tilting reflectors creates even more visibility for the driver. Up front on the bumper also features a 10” Procomp LED for additional low down lighting on the road or trail.

Rubicon Wranglers don’t usually get colour coded fender flares, but on this build we have had these colour matched with the body and had the grill painted in a satin black making this stand apart from others.

Rubicon Off Road Capability

The Rubicon is equipped with the gear you need to take on the trails. Tru-Lok front and rear electronic locking differentials lock power and distribute it evenly between the wheels for ultimate traction during low-speed rock crawling. Pushing the dashboard-mounted sway bar button disconnects the sway bar and allows your front wheels to drop and compress, improving articulation. A heavy-duty 4:1 low-range transfer case delivers outstanding torque and low-speed control for impressive off-road performance. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is also equipped with front and rear Dana 44 axles. The axles are beefed up with thicker tubes and forgings for superior strength, rigidity and durability.

Interior Features

The interior is where you will find major improvements over the previous generation JK Wrangler. Modern in every way, the interior of the JL Wranger raises the bar to new heights. Black Mckinley leather-trimmed bucket seats with accent stitching and Rubicon logo perfectly complement the black exterior, Leather trim heated steering wheel, new customizable 7-inch Driver Information Digital Cluster Display and an available Uconnect® system 4C NAV with an 8.4-inch touchscreen with full Apple and Android connectivity , you’ll always drive in comfort and style.

Open-air freedom is at the heart of every Wrangler. There are big improvements all-around for the new Wrangler, including a new lightweight Freedom Top hardtop with easily removable roof panels.

We’ve done away with the factory fitted bright red dash in favour of gloss finish body colour coded dash.

The new selectable Tyre Fill Alert System takes the guesswork out of filling up and airing down your tires. When you fill up, the system chirps the horn at the recommended pressure. When you air down, it chirps at your pre-selected pressure.
