This Jeep has been fitted with and ARB Old Man Emu (OME) suspension system which was developed with comprehensive research and vehicle testing along with countless hours of engineering resources were dedicated to the development of OME suspension for the JL. OME is proud to offer suspension products that will add 2.5 inch lift that provides excellent control on off-road trails.
During development, each new Old Man Emu suspension system is tested not only for practical performance, but also to ensure compatibility with modern vehicle safety features such as electronic stability control, an area in which ARB has invested heavily in.
Both front and rear OME Nitrocharger Sport Shocks have vehicle-specific valving tuned for optimal blend of ride control and comfort. Shock lengths have been optimized for maximum down travel. An additional tuning feature was specifically added to the JL Nitrocharger Sport Shock. An internal rebound spring has also been introduced into the JL front and rear shock absorbers. This provides the opportunity to refine ride characteristics such as body control and top out.
Storm Jeep have combined the OME kit with a Teraflex control arm geometry and rear track bar brackets to give a system that focuses on ride and handling. These geometry brackets restore caster on taller lifts for improved ride quality and reduced brake nosedive.
We have cleared room for huge 37” tyres with only a 2.5” suspension lift. This has been achieve by combining the OME 2.5” suspension lift with USA specification colour coded high top fenders, which create an additional 2” clearance for the tyre within the fender flares. This lower lift height / high fender combination creates a lower centre of gravity for both on-road comfort and off-road performance in comparison to larger suspension lifts.

ARB has designed a completely new look to suit the JL with its ARB Bondi Recovery winch bumper. Ruggedness is ensured by the new single-piece, press-formed center pan perfectly complemented by a bash plate along the base. The hoop is a modern interpretation of the three-piece Wrangler TJ Deluxe Bumper hoops, with a low slung forward facing 76.1mm main hoop and 47.6mm upright tubes providing excellent protection to vulnerable vehicle components and sturdy light mounting options. Zinc-rich primer for additional corrosion resistance, followed by a textured Integrit black powder coat finish, Twin jack points in the bumper perfect for use with ARB Jack, Dual chassis mounted recovery points, powder coated red for maximum visibility and under bumper skid plate are just a few of the great features offered on the recovery bumper.
The bumper accommodates an 10,000lbs Warn VR Evo Winch with synthetic rope. The VR EVO features IP68-rated waterproof construction, an ultra-reliable Albright® contactor inside a relocatable control pack, and a state-of-the-art, two-in-one remote for added ease of use and versatility. With it’s fast line-speed and lower amp draw, the VR EVO winches are the hardest-working standard-duty winches we’ve ever made, with tactical styling that looks great up front.
Adding some serious lighting power bumper mounted 4.5” Multi-LED CG2 Light Cannons, these are the ultimate light for blasting through the night with a powerful broad driving beam pattern and outstanding medium distance lighting coverage. The light utilise a range of snap on protective cover made of polycarbonate (virtually unbreakable) and offers a cover that protects against stone damage and keeps the light lens clean for when its needed.
The light cannons are mounted to the new line of Vision X bulletproof Off-Road Light Brackets, these brackets that are specifically designed to take a beating and come back for more. Torture tested in off-road racing our new brackets are made entirely of 4130 alloy hardened American steel.
HD Rugged Ridge tyre carrier uprated from the original hinges are capable of handling the huge 37” spare with rear view camera integration.
Rear Rugged Ridge recovery bumper also features 3/4 inch D-rings, 2” Receiver hitch and parking sensors. The numberplate has relocated high up out of harms way.
The Rubicon is equipped with the gear you need to take on the trails. Tru-Lok front and rear electronic locking differentials lock power and distribute it evenly between the wheels for ultimate traction during low-speed rock crawling. Pushing the dashboard-mounted sway bar button disconnects the sway bar and allows your front wheels to drop and compress, improving articulation. A heavy-duty 4:1 low-range transfer case delivers outstanding torque and low-speed control for impressive off-road performance. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is also equipped with front and rear Dana 44 axles. The axles are beefed up with thicker tubes and forgings for superior strength, rigidity and durability.

The new selectable Tyre Fill Alert System takes the guesswork out of filling up and airing down your tires. When you fill up, the system chirps the horn at the recommended pressure. When you air down, it chirps at your pre-selected pressure.
