Storm Jeeps - STORM-47, 2021 Sarge Green Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon 4 Door 2.0L

New for 2021 on the Wrangler JL is Sarge green, such a great colour to mark Jeeps 80th birthday going back to its heritage.

Modified Suspension

This Jeep has been fitted with Old Man Emu (OME) suspension system which was developed with comprehensive research and vehicle testing along with countless hours of engineering resources were dedicated to the development of OME suspension for the JL. OME is proud to offer suspension products that will add 2.5 inch lift that provides excellent control on off-road trails.

During development, each new Old Man Emu suspension system is tested not only for practical performance, but also to ensure compatibility with modern vehicle safety features such as electronic stability control, an area in which ARB has invested heavily in.

Both front and rear OME Nitrocharger Sport Shocks have vehicle-specific valving tuned for optimal blend of ride control and comfort. Shock lengths have been optimized for maximum down travel. An additional tuning feature was specifically added to the JL Nitrocharger Sport Shock. An internal rebound spring has also been introduced into the JL front and rear shock absorbers. This provides the opportunity to refine ride characteristics such as body control and top out.

An adjustable lower-arm kit was developed to allow a flexible solution to fine tune caster settings for the JL regardless of the final ride height and loading scenarios. All arms are designed with strength and durability in mind and also offer maximum ground clearance in comparison to control arm drop brackets.

The increased suspension height clears room for chunky 35×12.5” BFGoodrich KM3 tyres fitted to 17 × 8.5” Warn Epic Diamond Cutter wheels, packed full of the durability, performance, and style buyers expect from Warn Industries, these all-new wheels are designed for life off-road.

Exterior Enhancements

Rugged Ridge Venator bumper has muscular contours and chiseled facets combine with the Venators radical arches, creating a bumper that clearly complements the overall aesthetics of the Jeep rather than fighting them. It’s like nothing you’ve seen yet. This bumper accommodates an 8,000lbs Warn Winch with synthetic rope.

The Venator has Overrider hoop seating 2 x Wilderness LED cube lights with 4 off additional Wilderness LED lights on the pillars which have been added using Artec Industries mounts. These small yet very powerful LED cube lights produce a massive 3200 Lumens of light per unit. Each light has 4 ×10 watt CREE LEDs fitted in reflectors using a combination of spot and flood beam patters on the Jeep.

Interior Features

The interior is where you will find major improvements over the previous generation JK Wrangler. Modern in every way, the interior of the JL Wranger raises the bar to new heights. Black Mckinley leather-trimmed bucket seats with accent stitching and Rubicon logo perfectly complement the black exterior, Leather trim heated steering wheel, new customizable 7-inch Driver Information Digital Cluster Display and an available Uconnect® system 4C NAV with an 8.4-inch touchscreen with full Apple and Android connectivity, you’ll always drive in comfort and style.

We’ve done away with the bright red dash in favour of satin finish body colour coded finished in soft touch coating.

Open-air freedom is at the heart of every Wrangler. There are big improvements all-around for the new Wrangler, including a new lightweight Freedom Top hardtop with easily removable roof panels.

Rubicon Off Road Capability

The Rubicon is equipped with the gear you need to take on the trails. Tru-Lok front and rear electronic locking differentials lock power and distribute it evenly between the wheels for ultimate traction during low-speed rock crawling. Pushing the dashboard-mounted sway bar button disconnects the sway bar and allows your front wheels to drop and compress, improving articulation. A heavy-duty 4:1 low-range transfer case delivers outstanding torque and low-speed control for impressive off-road performance. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is also equipped with front and rear Dana 44 axles. The axles are beefed up with thicker tubes and forgings for superior strength, rigidity and durability.

The new selectable Tyre Fill Alert System takes the guesswork out of filling up and airing down your tires. When you fill up, the system chirps the horn at the recommended pressure. When you air down, it chirps at your pre-selected pressure.
