Suspension
This Storm Jeep features AEV’s 4.5” DualSport Suspension System which takes suspension engineering to the next level. This kit brings OE-level suspension engineering to the aftermarket to create a true do-anything “dualsport” suspension – one that is both extremely capable off-road, while offering unparalleled on-road performance and handling. The DualSport system has been thoroughly tuned for impeccable behaviour in every situation you might put it in – and especially the ones you didn’t intend to.
Expedition-Ready and Daily-Driven Practical. The JK Wrangler is not just a trail-mastering off-road specialist, it’s a truly “street able” on-road transport too. The AEV DualSport suspension enhances the JK to raise its performance in both arenas.
Wheel and Tyres
Keeping in with the CJ300 theme, Chelsea Truck Co. 17” matt black 1941 wheels are used and are perfectly suited to the aggressive side wall tread pattern of the Attuo trail blade MT tyres measuring 35” diameter by 12.5” wide.
Roof Rack
Smittybilt Defender Rack is made of heavy-duty 16 gauge, fully welded, 1 inch steel tube; and finished in a long lasting, black-textured powder coat making it versatile enough to carry all of your essential gear and equipment.
Bumpers and Side Bars
Featuring Smittybilt’s all new XRC Gen 2 front and rear bumpers. Each bumper is made from 3/16” steel construction with two-stage textured matte black finish. Solid plate centre sections (slip strips) are made from UHMW (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) and provide the ultimate protection for rock crawling.
The front bumper houses the 10000lbs Warn Zeon winch and the rear bumper features a chassis mounted tyre carrier swing arm to eliminate load from the oversize tyres on the tailgate hinge.
Bumpers also feature D-ring mounts to recover from those sticky situations.
Smittybilt SRC Side armour utilises a dual girder system provides the ultimate protection for the sides and under section of the Wrangler. SRC Side armour provides protection as well as a step at the same time. Finished in the same matte black textured powder as the front and rear bumpers.
Fender Flares
The rugged ridge hurricane fender flares give an aggressive off-road look and tyre clearance. The flat fender design was inspired by earlier concepts and specifically the 1941 Willys MA. The double bolt pockets with black stainless fasteners provide a modern twist on the traditional flares.
Lights
The windshield mount LED light bar kit from Rugged Ridge features three 13.5” 72-watt LED light bars. The ultimate lighting combination for the Jeep, this heavy duty light bar kit incorporates a special wind deflector below the light bar to dramatically reduce whistling. Oversized 2 inch textured black tubing attaches to the windshield and all wiring for the roof lights are run internally in the tubing to look as neat as possible on the Jeep.
The roof rack also features a full width 50” Rough Country LED light bar.
19” front bumper light bar by vision X has impressive reflectors to provide powerful long distance light.
Front fog light have been upgraded to Vision X Optimus LED units. Neatly integrated into the front bumpers these lights are E marked and have a day time running halo that work when the ignition is on.
Rear JW Speaker LED lights give a one-of-a-kind look incorporating a contoured housing, innovative light blade technology and “blacked out” styling.
Exhaust
Twin exit hi temperature black powder coated stainless exhaust by Rugged Ridge. The added flow decreases back pressure and efficiently increases horsepower. The dual exhaust system features slash cut and rounded oval tips for a tough look and awesome sound.
