We have cleared room for huge 37” tyres with only a 2.5” suspension lift. This has been achieve by combining the Rubicon Express Super-Ride 2.5” suspension lift with Mopar high top fenders which create an additional 2” clearance for the tyre within the fender flares. This lower lift height / high fender combination creates a lower center of gravity for both on-road comfort and off-road performance in comparison to larger suspension lifts.
The Rubicon Express Super-Ride suspension system elevates the new JL’s ride quality and off-road performance. Coil spring rates are perfectly tuned for bump compliance and load handling and are complemented by 2.5” diameter floating piston monotube shocks. These shocks are precisely tuned by Rubicon Express to maximize all terrain comfort, overall driver control and stability. Detail features include 1.75” diameter 4130 chromoly Super-Ride front lower arms, extended sway bar end links and extended bump stops to boost off-road capability.
The new Rubicon Express 2.5” Monotube shocks feature the latest velocity sensitive technology to maximize all terrain performance. These 2.5” Monotube shocks incorporate a floating piston to separate the nitrogen gas charge from the damper fluid to prevent fluid cavitation and provide consistent control on all types of terrain. They also feature a hydraulic rebound cut off that will keep you seated when enthusiasm exceeds mass and gravity.
The new Smittybilt XRC Gen2 front winch bumper bumper have been completely redesigned with more aggressive styling and heavy duty features, giving this Jeep the ultimate performance for rock crawling. This stubby bumper provide increased clearance and have angled corners for more aggressive approach angles in extreme conditions – perfect for the Jeep running the large 37” tyres. The redesigned solid D-ring and jack point mounts are welded on the inside and out, and feature an integrated recovery point for easy access. The bumper accommodates the OE LED fog lights and the winch plate mounts a premium quality Warn Zeon 8000lbs winch with synthetic rope which has been placed lower for greater airflow to the radiator.

The one-piece design hinge casting is a complete replacement for the factory tailgate hinges, creating a structurally stable link between the tailgate and the body, resulting in smooth one-handed access to the rear cargo area. This, in combination with forged steel hinge brackets and hardened steel pins, results in far superior load capacity than the factory tailgate hinges, thereby effectively reducing wear and increasing longevity.
The Rubicon is equipped with the gear you need to take on the trails. Tru-Lok front and rear electronic locking differentials lock power and distribute it evenly between the wheels for ultimate traction during low-speed rock crawling. Pushing the dashboard-mounted sway bar button disconnects the sway bar and allows your front wheels to drop and compress, improving articulation. A heavy-duty 4:1 low-range transfer case delivers outstanding torque and low-speed control for impressive off-road performance. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is also equipped with front and rear Dana 44 axles. The axles are beefed up with thicker tubes and forgings for superior strength, rigidity and durability.
