The custom Wranglers suspension has been uprated to an ARB Old man Emu Sport system with a 2.5” height increase.
While ride height increases are attained with this kit, emphasis is placed on ride control improvements. Further fine tuning is achieved as the springs are precisely matched to a corresponding set of Old Man Emu shock absorbers, delivering a fully integrated system designed specifically to suit the Jeep. The spring rate has been specifically engineered for the 2 door petrol variant. Extra weight from aftermarket equipment has been accounted for in the spring rate to ensure the suspension is optimum for the Jeep.
The Old Man Emu JK lift uses the Nitrocharger Sport Shock – the most advanced and innovative 4×4 shock absorber on the market. Designed by a dedicated team of OME engineers through an exhaustive vehicle specific development program, Nitrocharger Sport 4×4 shock absorbers deliver the best control, durability and most comfortable ride over all terrain.
Brake line relocation brackets have been developed to reroute factory brake lines to work with this kits’ extended shock lengths – this relieves stress on brake lines resulting from the higher ride height.
An Old Man Emu heavy duty steering stabiliser / damper has also been fitted. This enables increased compression and extension damping performance. This improved performance will assist in the overall ride and control of the JK Wrangler.
The Old Man Emu suspension has had its well known yellow shock absorbers sprayed in black Raptor paint.
17×9” XHD wheels are Rugged Ridge toughest new design in custom wheels. This Hub-Centric design exactly centers the wheel over the hub providing the best fit possible and the proper clearance for brake rotors, steering components and suspension. Better fit, no wheel vibration! Stainless steel button-head socket cap screws around the perimeter of the outer wheel face give a great 3-piece look and also let you accessorise with our optional trim ring. Each wheel includes a UV-treated polished centre cap that replicates a manual hub for that off road look. The durable powder-coated finish gives an ultra-hard finish for long life and a great look. Rugged Ridge wheels have been independently tested and certified to meet/exceed SAE J2530 standards for wheel strength and durability.
The wheels are fitted with 315/70 BFGoodrich AT KO2 Tyres. The AT KO2 is the latest tyre from BF Goodrich offering a balance of on and off road all season performance.
An AEV Procal module has been used to re-calibrate the speedo and gearbox with the oversize tyres.
The stylish Rugged Ridge XHD modular bumper system has been used on the front of the Jeep. The modular design can be customised to provide dozens of different looks and styles. This bumper has been fitted with the high clearance ends and hoop, All bumper components are constructed of heavy-duty textured black powder coated steel with a tough E-Coat under-coating or polished, no rust, prime 304 stainless steel for the ultimate look! The tough finish will provide years of heavy-duty use.
A matching Rugged Ridge XHD rear bumper combine with Sparticus HD tyre carrier has been fitted a complete the look.
Twin exit stainless exhaust by Rugged Ridge. Added flow decreases back pressure and efficiently increases horsepower. The dual exhaust system features slash cut and rounded oval tips for a tough look and awesome sound.
