Modified Suspension

To give this 2 door JL an impressive road presence it has been lifted by 2.5” allowing fitment of 20” KMC XD Series Rock Star 3 wheels wrapped in 35” Toyo Open Country Tyres. This wheel package is a real showpiece on the Jeep and popular amongst custom build Jeeps in the USA.

We have used a Skyjacker suspension system which features DUAL RATE-LONG TRAVEL coil springs to ensure superb highway ride quality and performance on rough terrain – whether it’s the streets you travel or when hitting the trails. The DUAL RATE-LONG TRAVEL coil springs offer the best of both driving worlds! What this means is the 1st spring rate offers an exceptional highway ride AND the coils will expand while off-roading during extreme articulation as the suspension droops to keep the tires in contact with the ground much longer than a linear rate, or single rate, coil spring resulting in a smoother & more controlled ride while keeping the coil in the coil bucket at full droop. The 2nd rate (lower coils) only engage after compression past the 1st rate. This second rate allows consistent control and stability when heavy off-road suspension movement is required.

This kit Features Front Extended sway bar end links that are very important to allow proper droop & long travel as well as front & rear bump stop extensions to make sure the suspension clears the tires at bump. Long Travel front & rear shocks are length fitted to offer the maximum extension allowable for full articulation to complete this total system package.

Skyjacker’s M95 Monotube Shocks are the ultimate shock absorbers for light trucks, Jeeps and SUV’s. This single tube design helps operating temperatures stay cooler under extreme conditions. The high pressure nitrogen gas and floating piston technology combine to create the fastest responding shock ever.

Exterior Enhancements

Rugged Ridge Sparticus winch bumper has a tough satin black powder-coated finish made from a sturdy 11 gauge stamped steel construction. The stamping process allows for the most advanced styling on the market, creating a bumper lighter than most aftermarket steel bumpers. The Rugged Ridge winch bumper perfectly accommodates a Warn Tabour 8-S winch with synthetic rope.

The Rugged Ridge Spartan Nerf bars are the ideal solution for JL offering a little help climbing into this lifted lifted Jeep without sacrificing that aggressive off-road attitude. These Spartan Nerf Bars feature a 3-inch OD primary tube that fits in a higher position than conventional tube steps offering a cleaner look, while patented drop-down step hoops at each door gives you firm footing for easy entry & exit.

Additional enhancements have been achieved from a smoked out lights and a Storm Jeeps matt black sticker package.

LED Lighting

This Storm Jeep has been fitted with an impressive array of LED lights. ZRoadZ light bar brackets that accommodate a Rigid Radiance 50” roof level LED light bar and 4 off LED cube lights. These Rigid Radiance lights also features a white back light that can be used as a running light.

As an ultimate show piece the Jeep also uses 8 red VISION X LED rock lights that illuminate the underside of the Jeep.

All this lighting is controlled via the auxiliary switch panel located neatly within the JL’s dash. This Mopar accessory was fitted by Storm Jeeps.
