Storm Jeeps - STORM-28, 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Edition 4 Door 3.6L V6

This 2018 Wrangler JK Edition is limited edition and is the last Wrangler produced featuring the 3.6 V6 Pentastar for the RHD UK market. Only 55 of the JK Editions have been sold in the UK and many have the 2.8 CRD powertrain. This example must be one of the very last petrol V6 Wranglers JK Editions on sale in the UK. From 2019 onwards all UK RHD Wranglers will have either a 4 cylinder 2.0 litre petrol or 2.2 Diesel engines only. Unfortunately future Wrangler production featuring the 3.6 V6 petrol, will be reserved for the US market. This will be your last chance to secure collectible delivery mileage V6 example new from Storm Jeeps. Storm Jeeps have modified this example with some of the best known aftermarket brands on the custom Jeep market with no expense spared. This JK Edition has everything it takes to make an icon even more special.

Exterior Enhancements

The aim behind the exterior enhancements on this Jeep was to create a blackout stealth look with styling inspired by Poison Spyder Customs builds in the USA.

The unique fender styling comes from Poison Spyder aluminium Crusher fender flare which have been colour coded to match the Jeeps body work. The Jeep JK’s factory fenders and stock plastic flares are among the most vulnerable body components when traversing the trail. Poison Spyder JK flares improve both the aesthetics and durability of the Jeep during off road adventures as it features an inner brace system increasing toughness to withstand punishing scrapes with granite canyon walls.

The JW speaker light upgrades offer enhanced beam patterns for superior performance over the standard halogen units whilst giving the blackout visual important to the Jeep styling. Front headlights also incorporate a day time running feature for increased visibility.

For additional off road lighting a full length 50” Rigid Radiance plus light bar is mounted along the top of the windscreen for serious light power controlled by pillar mounted switches within easy reach inside the Jeep. The Radiance light bar also features a red back light controlled by a seaports switch.

The Poison Spyder RockBrawler II Rear Bumper’s high clearance, multi-faceted design provides the best possible departure angles and corner obstacle clearance. Its appearance is designed to be streamlined and spherically pleasing whilst still providing increased protection from corner impacts… not like the squarish, boxy shape of many other bumpers on the market. The rear bumper also has integrated LED foglights which keeps appearance neat without having additional fog light units mounted on top.
The 37” spare wheel is supported by a Rugged Ridge cast alloy heavy duty tailgate hinge with a halo LED brake light mounted in the wheel.

The Brawler Lite front bumper is a “mid-width”, high clearance bumper designed to combine hard core off-road performance with full features such as fog light mounts. This bumper is fabricated from 3/16” plate steel, CNC laser-cut and precision brake-formed into a low profile, high clearance design. The ends of the bumper extend far enough to protect the lower corner of the JK grille, but not far enough to hinder tyre clearance or tyre access to vertical obstacles. The bumper mounts a premium quality Warn Zeon 8000lbs winch with synthetic rope and a Poison Spyder Customs rope fairlead.

Other exterior enhancements that finalise the custom look appearance are the Mopar power dome vented bonnet, Mopar fuel car door with Jeep logo embossed, Mopar premium rock rails, Diesel Grey grill accents and Drake door handle inserts.

The single exit stainless steel Borla cat back dirt sport exhaust offers an impressive and aggressive exhaust note worthy of the 3.6L V6 Engine.

Storm Jeeps Modified Suspension

The TeraFlex JK 3” Suspension Lift Kit delivers everything that you need to conquer the most extreme trails and conditions. Drivability and performance are the most important factors that are engineered and built into every TeraFlex lift kit. Properly developed suspension geometry, roll center, and load tuning ensure that all factory stability controls remain functional and within the parameters that Jeep originally engineered into the vehicle. TeraFlex kits drive straight and will crawl anything, getting you there and back! This system includes 3” lift coil springs, front swaybar disconnects, rear swaybar links, rear trackbar bracket, Front adjustable track bar, bumpstops and all necessary hardware. Falcon 2.1 Shocks are vehicle specific engineered shock absorbers offering increased vehicle stability on and off road, improved dynamic roll control , improved low speed damping and optimised fitment for clearance during full suspension travel & articulation.

The cockpit of the JK Edition offers you the best comfort in a stylish ambience. The exclusivity of this final edition is further emphasized by a special badge with serial number 868 / 1,250 and the panic handle embossed with “Wrangler JK” lettering.
