Rubicon Off Road Features
Equipped with front and rear Tru-Lok®electronic locking differentials in heavy duty Dana 44 axles, Rock-Trac® transfer case with 4:1 low-range ratio, and electronic sway bar disconnect. Sway bar disconnect system on the Rubicon lets you automatically disengage the front sway bar when driving under 18 mph in 4LO mode. The front wheels can then drop and compress up to 33% further.
Interior
We have replaced the factory cloth seats with hand crafted custom leather featuring colour coded hydro blue stitching. This interior is set to impress and transforms the inside of the Jeep.
The electric sunroof gives you all the perks of the original Freedom Top front driver panels with the added freedom of being able to control the elements on the move.
Exterior highlights
Getting into the Jeep shouldn’t feel like climbing Everest. That’s why we fitted the automatic, electric-powered running board that instantly extends when you open your door, and then hides itself safely out of sight when the doors close for improved ground clearance, aerodynamics and appearance.
XHD Aluminum Bumper System allows high clearance approach and departure angles while being extremely light weight weight in comparison to steel bumpers. The front bumper accommodates a Warn Zeon 10,000lbs winch.
The bushwhacker fender flares offer increased clearance for the huge 37” diameter tyres, with a flat fender design which was inspired by the original 1941 Willys Jeep.
LED headlights, taillights and foglight offers enhanced beam patterns for superior performance over the standard halogen units. Additional LED lighting features on the roof and pillars.
Suspension
Suspension is made by Old man emu, bringing 4” height increase over standard and features OME BP-51 High Performance Bypass Shock Absorbers. Bringing racing technology to your adventures, the OME BP-51 shock absorbers feature revolutionary, patent-pending technology developed by the Old Man Emu engineers to deliver unparalleled on and off road performance.
The BP-51 shock absorbers offer damping performance that is easily adjustable across a wide range in both rebound and compression, allowing the user to adjust the vehicle’s ride performance and cater for different road conditions and vehicle loading scenarios.
This bypass design results in an ability for the shock absorber to provide the best of both worlds, a comfortable and compliant ride during normal driving and a more controlled ride over challenging terrain. With greater levels of damping generated at each end of the stroke, the piston slows as it approaches full compression and extension, preventing harsh topping out against the bump stop and allowing large bumps and corrugations to be easily absorbed.
